1st week in December

I am trying out this blogging thing to keep better in contact with those of you we don't see very often. I thought this would be a good way to keep everyone up to date as to what is going on in the lives of the Hooten Family. Unfortunately I won't be able to post pictures for a while because we do not have a digital camera. Hopefully not much longer and then I can start posting them. We have had a busy weekend this past weekend. We are trying to potty train our two year old Elyse and that has been a little bit of a challenge. We introduced the toilet to her about a year ago and now she is really showing signs of being potty trained. She is a little over 2 and a 1/2 now and seems to be catching on rather well. The first day we had only one accident. She managed to stay dry on Sunday during church. Very exciting!! Yesterday (Monday) she stayed dry all day at school except she had a #2 accident. Hopefully my Christmas wish will come true and she will be completely potty trained by then. Madyson our 7 month old is doing very well. She is a very happy baby and is a lot of fun. She has the most beautiful smile. She loves it when anybody pays attention to her. As for me, I finish up the semester next week and start my student teaching in January. I am really excited to be almost finished with my crazy busy life at least for one month. Hope you all enjoy. Hopefully I will get pictures posted as soon as I can.
